Glen Arbor features Pajama Party, Tree Lighting, Holiday Marketplace

From staff reports

“Better than Black Friday” shopping in Glen Arbor takes place annually at participating restaurants and retailers from 6-9 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 24. Join the community for this fun holiday shopping event in your pajamas.

That evening at 6:45 p.m. sharp the Glen Arbor Township Hall hosts the town’s annual Tree Lighting and Caroling event. The Holiday Market “Preview Party” commences inside the Town Hall immediately following the tree lighting. Mingle, shop and get first picks of all the artisan goods during the Holiday Marketplace preview party, from 7-8 p.m.

The Glen Arbor Holiday Marketplace runs from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 25. Shop from 30 vendors providing locally made artisan goods. Santa and Mrs. Claus will appear between 12-2:30 p.m. with toys and goodies. Bring the kids and your camera for great fun and photo opportunities.

All three events are free and open to the public. If you are a vendor or artisan with questions, contact Patricia at patricia@glenarborbnb.com or call 847-570-4891).
