Glen Arbor Arts Center features Gallery Talk: A ‘Color’ Tour

From staff reports

Art educator Linda Young leads a conversational tour of COLOR, an exhibition of 2D and 3D color art work on February 29, at 2 pm at the Glen Arbor Arts Center, 6031 S. Lake St., Glen Arbor. There is no charge.

Using selected works from the COLOR exhibition as examples, Young will talk about the many ways visual artists use color as a tool in their work. COLOR exhibitors demonstrate how color is used to express emotion, tension, energy and action; and how color can tell a story. Young, a Leelanau County resident, was the director of museum education at the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts for 20 years.

The GAAC’s COLOR exhibition continues through March 26. For more information visit GlenArborArt.org.
