Glen Arbor Arts Center celebrates Harvey Gordon

Join the Glen Arbor Arts Center on Sunday, July 26, from 6-7 pm for a special musical performance celebrating local artist Harvey Gordon, whose acrylic paintings and inventive glazing techniques have captivated audiences for decades. The program features a musical tribute by his son, tenor David Gordon, with pianist Susan Snyder, performing songs and arias by Bernstein, Sondheim, Mozart, Beach, Berg, and more.
A singer, actor, director, and educator, David has performed with New York City Opera, Hawaii Opera Theatre, and the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra, and teaches at the Manhattan School of Music.Through this intimate concert, David celebrates his father’s creative spirit and the enduring connection between art, music, and family.
