Girls Night Out!

Don’t miss the second-annual Girls Night Out event at the Glen Arbor Township Hall on Thursday, June 19, from 5:30 to 8 p.m.
Last year, approximately 200 women shopped for a great mix of food, chocolate and wine, clothes, jewelry, accessories and books, and services including insurance, dental, spa and photography.
Other upcoming local events include a Manitou Music Festival concert and songwriter workshop with Joel Mabus, on June 14 at The Leelanau School; a Solstice Concert with Michael Smith and “88 Keys” fundraiser, on June 21 at Glen Lake High School; the Glen Arbor Art Association’s Dart for Art 5K run/walk on June 28, and a concert by the Northport Community Band at the Glen Arbor Athletic Club lawn on June 29.
Finally, don’t forget about the public meeting at the Glen Arbor Township Hall on June 23 for a vote on a new park and public bathrooms where the old fire hall used to be.
