Farmers Markets Association holds Leelanau Farm-to-Table

Upcoming Event

From staff reports

The Leelanau Farmers Markets Association is excited to announce “Leelanau Farm-to-Table,” a fundraising dinner at the Willowbrook Mill in Northport on Tuesday, Sept. 12, from 6-9:30 pm.

Six local chefs will delight their dinner guests with delectable courses using the freshest ingredients from our local farmers. Each course will be complimented by the perfect wine from a local Leelanau winery. The Farmers Markets Association is honored to have celebrity chef turned Northport local Mario Batali. Additional guest chefs include Loghan Call from Planted Cuisine, Andy Schudlich from Joy Farm, Eric Allchin and Paul Carlson from The Union in Northport and Randy Chamberlain from Blu in Glen Arbor. These culinary masterminds have each chosen an enticing dish for their perspective course. Leelanau wine parings will be presented by Baia Estate, Bel Lago, Chateau Fontaine and Verterra. Satiating non-alcoholic beverages will be provided by Audacia Elixirs.

Leelanau Farm-to-Table is a must do this season. This dinner will showcase the bounty of the harvest season in Leelanau. Please join us for this exquisite dining experience of enjoying locally grown foods while supporting a worthy cause. The LFMA is a non-profit organization and the proceeds from the dinner will be used to support our five farmers markets and our local farmers.

To create the perfect, intimate event, only a limited number of tickets will be offered. Pre- purchased tickets are required. Tickets are $175 per person and available through MyNorth Tickets.

You may check our website leelanaufarmersmarkets.com for menu updates as we receive them from our chefs. For more information, please call 231-632-1778 or email leelanaufarmersmarkets@gmail.com.
