The Glen Arbor Art Association (GAAA) celebrates Spring’s return with an art history talk exploring the Post-Impressionists on Thursday, May 11, at the Leelanau School, 1 Old Homestead Road, Glen Arbor. An optional Provençal-themed luncheon at blu restaurant is available.

Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore will be hosting its popular annual pruning workshop on Friday, May 5, in the Port Oneida Rural Historic District. The workshop will be held at the Miller farm, four miles north of Glen Arbor on M-22. Turn onto Port Oneida Road, go one mile and turn onto Miller Road, and follow the signs to the workshop site.

Online registration for the ninth annual M22 Challenge will go “live” at 8 a.m. on March 1. The event, to be held Saturday, June 10, near the Sleeping Bear Dune Climb, is capped at 900 athletes and in the past several years has reached capacity within 15 minutes.
