The Justice and Peace Advocacy Center is hosting a fundraiser on Thursday, December 5, at Mawby Vineyards near Suttons Bay (4519 S. Elm Valley Rd) to provide emergency assistance for our local immigrant/migrant community.
Carpe Diem. Seize the day. That was the motto of the 1994 state champion Glen Lake football team. Glen Lake plays Monroe St. Mary today at 4:30 pm in the Division 6 state championship game at Ford Field in Detroit.

Every year Americans set aside one day for gratitude. But what if giving thanks, and counting one’s blessings extended beyond Thanksgiving Day, as a year-round practice?
