FourthParade2009-TimBarr“Mayor” Tim Barr asks you to please keep your kids out of the streets, and for those riding in floats, to please throw candy away from the moving vehicles (and over the white lines), during this year’s Fourth of July parade. Let’s have fun, and keep things safe!

• Saturday, July 3 at 10 a.m., Flag Raising Ceremony at Old Settler’s Park in Burdickville.

• Sunday, July 4 from 7-11 a.m., Glen Arbor Fire & Rescue Association Pancake Breakfast at Glen Arbor Town Hall.

FourthParade2009-2• 10:30 a.m., children bring bikes to Glen Arbor Art Association for patriotic bike decorating.

• Noon, line up in Glen Haven for Fourth of July parade, departing at 1 p.m. Parade should pull into downtown at 1:30 p.m.

• 4 p.m. Glen Lake Boat Parade, gather by the Yacht Club on Big Glen Lake
