Glen Lake Library hosts children’s programs

The Glen Lake Community Library in Empire will host a series of children’s programs beginning June 23. No advance registration is needed. All programs will take place on Thursdays at 11 a.m. unless otherwise noted.

June 23: Cirque Amongus demonstrates circus skills

June 30: Joanne Beare presents “Happy Birthday USA” for preschoolers

July 7: Storyteller & musician Kevin Kammeraad presents “Friends Around the World”

July 14: Katherine Robey reads her new book “Where’s the Party?”

July 21: Organization for Bat Conservation presents “Animals of the World” (at 10:00 am)

July 28: Kalamazoo Nature Center presents “What in the World are you Eating?”

August 4: Learn about our local environment with Sleeping Bear Dunes park rangers.

August 11: Folk music with Jackie & Gary
