CASTING CALL — EXTRAS FOR SLEEPING BEAR DUNES FILM SHOOT

Do you love winter at Sleeping Bear Dunes? What’s your favorite winter activity? Do it on camera for a new video being filmed at your favorite national lakeshore.

Production company Orange Frame is seeking extras for a film shoot featuring winter activities at Sleeping Bear Dunes. Volunteers are needed to participate in a variety of activities such as snowshoeing, sledding, and cross-country skiing. The ideal candidate is someone who loves visiting the park in winter. No on-camera experience necessary.

Filming will take place on Saturday, Jan. 27, Sunday, Jan. 28, and Monday Jan. 29. Each scene should take about 2-4 hours, and snacks will be provided. Scene details are listed below.

Extras will need to provide their own gear (i.e. snowshoes, sleds, skis) and should have some experience with the activity required. Some extras may be interviewed briefly on camera about their experience visiting Sleeping Bear Dunes.

If interested, please send an email to CLOCKERBY@BIGORANGEFRAME.COM no later than Friday, Jan. 19 with the following information:

• Role(s) of interest

• Name(s) and age(s)

• Experience with the onscreen activity required

• Recent photo

• Confirm shoot date availability

Candidates may express interest in multiple roles. A family or group of friends may send one email, as long as it contains all required information about each person interested.

Orange Frame is also open to flexibility in casting, if someone does not meet the description exactly — finding extras who are interested and experienced with the activities is most important.
